आज हम आपके लिए लेकर आए हैं एक और महान क्रांतिकारी चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद की कहानी…चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद इतने बड़े क्रांतिकारी थे कि उन्होंने अपने खून से भारत माता का तिलक किया और भारत को आज़ाद कराने के लिए प्राणों की आहुति दी। इलाहाबाद के अल्फ्रेड पार्क में जब अंग्रेज़ों से उनकी मुठभेड़ हुई तो उन्होंने दर्जनों अग्रेज सैनिकों का अकेले सामना किया। वो करीब आधे घंटे तक गोलियों की बौछार के सामने डटे रहे और अंग्रेज़ों को मुंहतोड़ जवाब दिया।
कैसे शहीद हुए चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद?
जब वो घायल हो गए तो उन्होंने कहा कि जीते जी अंग्रेज़ मुझे कभी पकड़ नहीं पाएंगे, हम आजाद थे, आज़ाद हैं और आजाद रहेंगे। इसके बाद उन्होंने खुद को गोली मारकर भारत माता के चरणों में अपनी ज़िंदगी कुर्बान कर दी…ऐसे थे महान क्रांतिकारी चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद…उन्होंने बचपन में भारत माता को गुलामी की ज़ंजीरों से आज़ाद करने का संकल्प ले लिया था।
चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद का असली नाम क्या था?
बहुत कम लोग जानते हैं कि उनका असली नाम चंद्रशेखर तिवारी था…उनका नाम चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद कैसे पड़ा, इसके पीछे एक दिलचस्प किस्सा है…साल 1920 में महात्मा गांधी ने असहयोग आंदोलन छेड़ा…देश प्रेम की भावना से लबरेज़ 15 साल के चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद इसमें कूद पड़े। धरने प्रदर्शन के दौरान अंग्रेज़ों ने उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया।
चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद का नाम आज़ाद कैसे पड़ा?
जब उन्हें अंग्रेज जज के सामने पेश किया गया, तो उन्होंने जज के होश उड़ा दिए। जब जज ने उनसे उनका नाम पूछा गया, तो उन्होंने अपना नाम आजाद बताया। जज ने उनके पिता का नाम पूछा तो उन्होंने कहा स्वतंत्रता। जज गुस्से में लाल हो गया उसने चंद्रशेखर से उनकी मां का नाम पूछा उन्होंने कहा भारत माता और फिर अपने घर का पता जेल बताया। इस बात से जज इतना नाराज हुआ कि उसने 15 साल के लड़के चंद्रशेखर को कोड़े मारने की सजा सुनाई।
चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद ने जेलर के मुंह पर मारे 3 आने
जब चंद्रशेखर को कोड़े मारे जा रहे थे तो लोग डर गए लेकिन उन्होंने उफ्फ तक नहीं की थी। उन्होंने हर कोड़े पर भारत माता की जय का नारा लगाया। कोड़े मारने के बाद सजा भुगतने के एवज में उन्हें 3 आने दिए गए, तो उन्होंने वो जेलर के मुंह पर मार दिए। इस घटना को देखने वाले लोगों ने उन्हें आज़ाद-आज़ाद कहना शुरू कर दिया। हर कोई उन्हें चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद कहकर पुकारने लगा।
चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद को नमन
आज भी जब कोई चंद्रशेखर आज़ाद का नाम लेता है तो हमारे ज़हन में मूंछ पर ताव देते हुए एक बहादुर और निर्भीक क्रांतिकारी की तस्वीर उभरती है…सच में चंद्र शेखर आज़ाद जैसे आज़ाद जिए, वैसे ही वो आज़ाद रहते हुए अमर हो गए। भारत माता के इस वीर सपूत को शत शत नमन।

The judge turned red in anger and asked Chandrashekhar his mother’s name, he said Bharat Mata and then told his home address, Jail. The judge was so angry with this that he sentenced 15 year old boy Chandrashekhar to flogging.
Chandrashekhar Azad slapped 3 annas on the jailer’s face
When Chandrashekhar was being whipped, people got scared but they did not even utter a sigh. He raised the slogan of Bharat Mata Ki Jai on every whip. After being whipped, he was given three annas in lieu of punishment, so he hit the jailer in the face. People who witnessed this incident started calling him Azad-Azad. Everyone started calling him Chandrashekhar Azad.
